Nicolas joined Snyder & Associates LLP as an articling student after completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta in 2018. While in law school, Nicolas volunteered with Student Legal Services and worked closely with professors as a casebook editor and research assistant in the Faculty of Law.

Nicolas has co-authored several papers published in academic journals, most recently offering his views on emergency protection orders pursuant to Canada’s species at risk legislation. Prior to law school, Nicolas completed a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Psychology.

In his spare time, Nicolas enjoys staying active on the soccer pitch, skiing and hiking in the mountains, and supporting the Edmonton Oilers.
